the best way to have fun on a tight budget is to rent or watch awful horror movies that you can talk through and laugh at. though, i guess you can talk through most horror movies because the plot never really matters, and we all know the dialogue definitely doesn't. they're really only good for mocking, so do it up.

my recommendation? friday the 13th pt. 7. i'm pretty sure that's the one with the girl who has telekenisis, but if i'm wrong, go for whichever one that happens to be. it is comedy gold, my lady. so many fuck-ups or continuity issues (i.e. girl is thrown backwards, somehow flies through window that was to the right of her, then falls face-first to the floor where there is no broken glass or debris of any kind. what?), awful acting, idiotic attempts to get out alive, etc, etc. one of my favorite parts:

dumb blonde slut: hiiii nick
idiot guy in full denim: what was that shit you pulled on tina earlier?
dumb blonde slut: that's chicks gggccraaazzy. besides, all's fair in love and war.
idiot guy in full denim (now with his hands on his hips): "ME-LISS-A, i don't even LIKE you"

not amusing? watch it and then try and tell me it isn't. i would give you more, but really, just watch it and then we can laugh about it someday in the future.

seriously, beth, i rewound so many scenes in that movie about 10 times before being able to go on. then, for two weeks after that, we'd just put it on and fast forward to those scenes and laugh again and again. it's that absurd. or maybe i'm just that easily amused? huh. whatever, i stand by all of this.
